When you click into a check result, we will provide you with our recommended action, the Batch item details (i.e. Batch File name, Batch upload time, Result Update Time, Last Modified By, Last Modified Date, and the check details), and any Fraud Risk Alerts available on that check.
You can go through each of the Fraud Risk Alerts by clicking Next Alert in the bottom right corner if there are multiple alerts. Once you have decided on what action you are going to take on the check, on top of the result, you have your option of Accept, Hold, Deny, or None. At the time an action is taken, the result gets marked as Reviewed, and you will be taken to the next check. You still have the ability to click on Next Item or Prev Item if you want to make any changes.
We also provide you with the ability to create a Fraud Risk Alert straight from this page by clicking Create Alert at the top of the page. When you click on that button, the alert creation page will pop up and be populated with the check information and check image. You will want to make sure that you fill out any required fields and click the Save as Public button at the bottom of the page. To have access to this button, you must be a TrueChecksAlertAdmin or BatchAlertAdmin. If you want to learn more about creating Fraud Risk Alerts, feel free to check out our other article on this feature by clicking here.
Next to the Create Alert button, we have the Alert Optimization button. It is a great way to quickly create an Alert Suppression from the Batch Result page. When you click on this button, a creation page will pop up with the routing and account number filled in for the Alert Suppression. You will then want to give the alert suppression filter a title and then insert any more information to help further filter down what information you want to suppress. To have access to this button, you must be a ClientAdmin. For more information on Alert Optimizations, feel free to check out our other article on this feature by clicking here.
Shortcut Key Strokes: You can also easily make decisions on checks and move from check to check without having to touch your mouse. We have built-in keystroke shortcuts to complete actions when reviewing results to ensure optimal efficiency. Below is a list of the keystrokes:
- All keystrokes will be: “ALT + Letter”
- A is Accepted
- H is Held
- N is Denied
- O is None
- X is Next Item
- P is Previous Item
*If Custom Actions Reasons are enabled, you will need to provide a reason for the specific action that you are taking on the check. Click here to learn more about Custom Action Reasons.*
