What was done?

Created a new "API Rules" feature in the Settings tab if the client is configured for API queries 
The "API Rules" screen mirrors the existing "Batch Rules" screen and functionality.
"API Rules" allow for the creation and customization of rules by query type. Available query types come from the existing API setup under the Client settings.
NOTE: This feature required changes to the API as well as the UI.

Why is this useful?
As a client of an Integrator, I want the ability to define rules for my TrueACH and TrueWire API requests, so that I can control which API requests will be processed and which will be ignored.

How do I use it?
1. Select Settings
2. Select API Rules
3. Configure the desired rules for API queries

What was done?
Activated OFAC in Production
Background system credentials were added to enable OFAC functionality in the production environment.

Why is this useful?
Financial institutions are required to monitor and screen against OFAC lists to monitor accounts and transactions designated by OFAC as prohibited transactions.
OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Controls) is an arm of the US Department of the Treasury administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions based on US foreign policy and national security goals against targeted foreign countries and regimes, terrorists, international narcotics traffickers, those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and other threats to the national security, foreign policy or economy of the United States.
OFAC requirements include:
• Screening against the SDN (Specially Designated Nationals) list
• Ongoing monitoring and updates
• Compliance with sanctions regulations and U.S. foreign policy objectives
• Management commitment, risk assessment, internal controls, testing, and training
• Blocking accounts and property of specified countries, entities, and individuals
• Prohibiting or rejecting unlicensed trade and financial transactions with specified countries, entities, and individuals

What was done?

Created an Integrator Level Configuration for API Rules (9419)
An integrator now can enable or disable the "API Rules" feature for their clients by selecting enable or disable for the API rules feature in Settings / Configuration / Client Configuration.
When selecting AFS Admin / Clients / Edit, the user will now see Client Configuration. If the “Is Integrator” toggle is set, the title will display as Integrator Configuration.
If "API Rules" is set to Yes for any integration and/or if the Client has "API Rules" set to yes, the API Rules are available under the "Settings" menu.

Why is this useful?

The Integrator can plan and complete development to handle new "API Rules" errors before the feature is exposed to their clients and maintain control over when the feature is visible and usable.
 

How do I use it?

1. To select API Enablement, click Settings / Configuration
2. Use the slide bar to indicate yes or now for API rule enablement
