What's new in TrueACH

This release improves how TrueACH matches consumer names during AOA validation, so legitimate matches aren't missed when name fields are entered in a different order or a middle name is abbreviated. The update is live now and applies automatically.

• Smarter name matching in AOA validation — transposed first and last names now resolve as proper matches, and middle initials match against full middle names.

Smarter name matching in AOA validation

We've adjusted the First Name and Last Name matching logic for AOA validation queries. TrueACH now accounts for transposed First and Last Names and allows matching on a middle initial when the whole middle name is not present.

For example, when a user runs an "AOA Only" or "Account Status + AOA" query against Joseph Quentin Smith's account with transposed name values — Last Name "Joseph," First Name "Smith," and Middle Name "Q" — TrueACH now resolves these as proper matches and returns a "Yes" for First Name Match and Last Name Match. The middle initial returns a "Partial" Middle Name Match.

No action required — this update applies automatically.

BENEFIT: Greater flexibility in AOA validation queries and higher-quality name matching, regardless of how the name fields were entered.
