The Batch History report provides you with the upload logs for every file that you upload to TrueChecks Batch, Return Files, and Account Status. So, if you were to look into TrueChecks Batch and notice there are no results, this is where you would confirm that a file has been uploaded and processed successfully.
To access this report, you will want to go to Batch Services > Reports > Batch History.
This page will provide you with two fields, Start Date and End Date. Here you can choose the time frame you want to run and see the uploaded files within that time. Once you have the dates chosen, you will want to click “View Report”.
There are 7 main components of this report. There is the Uploaded column (this is the date when the file was uploaded), File Name, Status, Uploaded By, Queries, Return Items, and Account Status.
For the Status field, this field will provide you with information as to how the batch upload process went. If the file was uploaded successfully, you will see “Complete”. If there was an error, we will provide you with the reason for the error. The common errors you will see are Unknown Batch File Format which means the file is not formatted in the X937 format. Also, you will see This Batch File Has Already Been Processed. This means that we identified a duplicate file and we will not process the same file multiple times.
The Queries Items column will provide you with the number of batch checks that we were able to process within the file that was provided. Keep in mind that if the queries are lower than the number of items in the file, there could be a threshold set, and checks lower than that threshold was not queried.
The Return Items column will provide you with the number of return items that have been added to the TrueChecks database using by uploading your federal return file. Please note that if you contribute your return files through an item processor such as Catalyst, Correlation, or others, your alerts will not be listed for review on this report.
The Account Status column will provide you with the number of accounts that have been contributed. The account status file provides all the on-us account information and the status of those accounts.
If there are multiple pages of information, you can go to each different page by clicking the arrow buttons at the top of the report. You can also export this data to our provided locations. These would include CSV, PDF, Excel, and more! You can access this option by clicking the Floppy Disc at the top of the report, next to the print button.
