Teller Focused Workflow
An FI Teller can now leverage Positive Pay whenever an On Us check is presented.
Functionality of the Teller-focused workflow allows the Teller to:
-Determine if the check was written by a Business Client that's enrolled in Positive
Pay
-Determine if the check matches an issued check in Positive Pay
-Determine if an exception is generated and if any auto decision rules were
applied
A new Teller option, after configuring the FI for Teller Integration, appears in the main
menu navigation bar.
When the Teller option is selected, a new "Teller Validation" screen is presented and
includes the following fields and formats:
-Routing Number (required field)
-Defaults to the configured Positive Pay Default Routing Number but can
be edited
-Account Number (required field)
-Check Number (required field)
-Amount (required field)
-Presented Date (required field)
-Defaults to the current date but can be edited
-Payee Name (optional field)
After the Teller enters all required data and submits the check for validation, a Results
screen is presented for Teller review. Options of "Pay" and "Return" are displayed to record
the Teller Action.
Why is this useful?
Enabling the Teller to quickly view presented check and exception information to make an
informed decision about accepting or denying the check at the Teller line allows real-time
fraud mitigation at the front line of the FI.
How do I use it?
1. Create a role for a Teller
2. Set up a user or users with the Teller role and permission
3. Login as a user with the Teller role and permission
4. Click Teller in the main navigation menu bar
5. Enter the required check data and click Validate Check

Add Teller Checks to Home Screen
The teller presented check activity from the Symitar integration or new Teller workflow (9169) will
now display within the existing graphs on the Home screen dashboard.
Why is this useful?
The graphs in the Home screen dashboard will reflect a more accurate view into all check activity.
How do I use it?
1. Teller checks will automatically show in the "Exceptions", "Exceptions by Decision", and
"Exceptions by Reason" graphs on the Home screen when the "Combined View" or "Check Only" filters
are set.
2. Teller checks will not show in the "Exceptions by Return Reason" graph on the Home
screen because Return Reasons are not captured for Teller checks at this time.

Hide Notification Settings for Teller Focused Workflow
If a user has the Teller Validation permission only, then the Notification Settings section will be
hidden from their self-management screen.
Administrators will still be able to view and configure Notification Settings for that user from
the administrator user management screen.
Why is this useful?
Due to the functionality of Teller Verification processes, the Teller will not need to configure
notifications.
How do I use it?
When logged in as a Teller user with Teller Validation permission only, and My Info is
selected from the user menu, the Notification Settings will be hidden.
